Essential Oils 101: Valor

This essential oil blend is one of the most coveted items in the Young Living product lineup. The main reason being that Young Living Valor essential oil blend is known for enhancing the properties over other essential oils when used in combination with them. Valor is frequently out of stock & when it is not out of stock, it becomes that way fast! However, it comes in the Everyday Oils Collection along with the 9 other oils I have been talking about recently. Unless you have sensitive skin, dilution is not always required when using Valor. Because it works directly with the nervous system, this blend of spruce, rosewood, blue tansy & frankincense promotes feelings of strength and courage & has a lovely scent as well.

Valor got its name because Roman soldiers bathed in the ingredients in it before going into battle in order to promote strength and courage (as stated above, this happens by the oil properties working directly with the nervous system).

Some uses for Valor essential oil blend:

• Promote feelings of strength & courage
  • Apply a drop or two to your neck area when it’s time to have a serious talk with your boss, friend, or teenager
  • Diffuse before a funeral or another stressful scenario
• Uplift mood
  • Dilute in carrier oil and apply with massage
  • Diffuse in your diffuser
• Ease anxiety
  • Rub on wrists
• Release tension
  • Diffuse in your diffuser
• Snoring
  • Apply to the right big toe before bed & you will sleep without snoring!
• Sleep apnea
  • Rub a few drops on your feet before bedtime
• Back pain / injury
  • Apply to back & base of spine to ease pain and promote spine alignment
• Stiff neck
  • Rub two drops directly onto your neck
• Reduce bruising
  • Apply directly to affected area
• Ease joint pain
  • Rub directly onto affected joint area
• Sciatica pain
  • Apply 2 drops to the heels of the feet
• Release tension headaches
  • Rub into affected area (temples, forehead, neck, etc.)
• TMJ
  • Rub a few drops on the jaw once at morning and again at bedtime until the pain stops
• Calm hyperactive children / increase focus
  • Apply to great toes before bedtime or at other times of day
  • Diffuse in your diffuser
